I TOTALLY can relate. I came on here to just play games. I have been a long time user of newgrounds since it first started and it has been a recent desire to start uploading my own art. I have been trying to "make it " as an artist. " You know that kinds that gets paid." But realized that was never going to happen until I let my stuff be seen. How can I sell my art if I don't know it's value? How can I learn to value it until I allow people to experience it? So, I'm going to start. I don't know if I have much imagination yet but I'm hoping that will come with time.
I too love to write but have been expiriencing some severe writer's block to to anxiety. So I get you.
Sorry for the long story (guess that's the writer in me) but I just wanted to let you know, I understand and I hope you find joy in art.
